Director of Operations Support Center
Alex Suhrie has been in Staffing for 10+ years. He joined Abacus in early 2019 as a Recruiter in Carlisle, PA, after being a Staffing Branch Manager for 4 years in that market. When the opportunity arose in late 2019, he moved to the Baltimore corporate office to take on a new role within the company, Operations Coordinator, part of the newly created “Operations Support Center”. In that role, he worked with the rest of the OSC team developing the role of this group within Abacus, with the ultimate goal of supporting the field operations teams to enable Abacus to provide the best possible service to our clients. In this role, he often worked with the various departments of the company to get things done – field operations, human resources, accounting, and executive leadership. In early 2021, he was promoted to a Director of the OSC.
Alex is greatly interested in helping Abacus grow their technology, simplifying everyday tasks by improving our processes using current technology and software, or identifying and utilizing new software. He has an Associates Degree in Information Systems & Database Administration and earned the Certified Staffing Professional (CSP) designation through the American Staffing Association.
